Lyndsay & Jeff

I’m so excited to share my favourite photos from Lyndsay and Jeffs wedding at Newcastle Town Hall. They had such a perfect day with so many people who loved them working together to make sure everything went beautifully. No one was afraid to show their emotions and it was evident that every single person had a great time celebrating the two of them and the love they share! To L&J thank you for being yourself with me, and for trusting me to document such an important day. Also thanks for choosing the best dinner ever, who doesn’t love a taco & burger bar!

Wellesley & Ryan's Engagement

I met W & R up at their family cottage where we drank beer and wine together and enjoyed a nice breeze off the lake. They broke a hammock, cuddled in another hammock, we went for a boat ride, and got eaten alive by mosquitos. It was literally a photographers dream! I think my favourite part was being out on the lake with such great company in finally some beautiful weather this year! Thanks you two for making my job so much fun!!!

Natalie & Matt

When I first met Natalie and Matt they welcomed me into their home and I found out she was an amazing hair stylist! So naturally after our meeting I booked an appointment with her in her adorable home studio - the same one in which she got ready in - and it was such a great opportunity to get to know each other even more.

The two of them are so free spirited and might I add - know how to throw a kick ass party. They even planned a beautiful choreographed dance like I’ve never seen before, no one was expecting it and I LOVE surprises like that! When you find yourself not wanting to leave the party after your job is done, you know the day, music and company was perfect. Thank you Natalie and Matt for giving me your trust to document the beginning of such an important chapter in your lives. xx

Lyndsay & Jeff's Engagement

L & J are two very kind hearted souls, which made photographing the two of them together so easy. Jeff grew up in Port Hope, where they now both live in their first place together with their adorable dog Penny (which you can confirm below). We decided to use his romantic little hometown as the background for their engagement shoot, and we even stopped off to visit their home so their dog could get in on the action. When I asked them to tell me something about themselves that defines them as individuals Lyndsay said Jeff is silly and doesn’t take life to seriously and she was soooo right, he laughed A LOT which made her laugh too - which made my job documenting them together even more fun!!

If you haven’t heard of Port Hope, Ontario it’s actually been used for it’s charming character in the most recent movie IT by Stephen King. They even took me to the spooky alleyway with the “Quality Meats” butcher shop sign. I’m so extremely grateful for discovering, learning about and seeing new sights because of all of my wonderful clients. THANK YOU!

Grace & Matt

A sentimental wedding in the heart of the city, with love and laughter in the air. Grace & Matt are two people truly meant for each other. The moment they saw each other, all the stress leading up to the big day seemed to just fall away. They cried together, laughed together, played a good round of rock-paper-scissors and hardly left the others side. In every emotional moment they were there to wipe the others tears, and hold their hand. It was such a pleasure to be apart of their day, and I wish them great happiness in this new journey together.

Katlyn & Mack's Engagement

Katlyn & Mack first met in elementary school, and life brought them back together years later where they found love and adventure within each other. When we were deciding on a place to document their love, they mentioned this gorgeous place where they got engaged. Of course she said YES in warmer weather, but we decided to go and see it's winter beauty and revisit this special place in their hearts.

Furnace Falls in Kinmount, Ontario is absolutely beautiful, and I intend on going back in the summer for some swimming and adventuring myself. We even stopped in at the old mill in town (so we could warm up our fingers in the car on the way there) and dealt with some gusty and snowy winds. It’s truly a blessing to discover so many wonderful new places with strangers that become my friends. Thank you for trusting me :)

Susie & Steve

Susan and Steve tied the knot in the comfort of her parents backyard. The ceremony was set amongst beautiful gardens and surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Complete with an adorable food truck buffet, and homemade sweets, they partied into the night under the glow of the backyard lights!

Jenny & Garett

J & G planned a blissful northern ceremony on Crystal lake. I had been looking forward to photographing their wedding from the moment I met them, not just because cottage country is such a romantic spot, but because their excitement was contagious. With the breeze off the lake, dockside campfires, and the bride arriving to the altar by boat, I was truly blessed to be a part of it.

J & G are two genuine, kind and beautiful people who are so in love! They both had the go with the flow attitude, and it made the day so calm end enjoyable. With so much love from their friends and family it was a joy to witness, I wish them so much happiness!!
